One of the central and best known passages in our Haggadah, the key text of the Seder Night, tells us:

In each and every generation,
A person should see themselves
As if they left Mitzrayim (Egypt or place of constriction)

​

The question retains its power and urgency throughout history - what does it mean to each one of us today, to see ourselves in this way?

​

This is the theme of the song 'In Every Generation' by Dreamers, a collaboration between Rabbi Avram Mlotek and AJS Director Rabbi Daniel Raphael Silverstein (Danny Raphael), which takes us from ancient Egypt to the world we share today.
